  Inspiring Scotland
See what’s on across Scotland this spring; Glasgow hosts the Festival of Visual Art, packed with events, talks and tours, as well as major exhibitions, running Arpril 20 - May 7. Then, later that month, catch the Magners Glasgow International Comedy Festival (March 15 - April 1), or the top poets at St Andrews, Fife, for StANZA, Scotland’s international poetry festival March 14 - 18.
Scotland’s landmarks have inspired some of the best-known stories of all time. Slains Castle in Aberdeenshire was the inspiration for Bram Stoker's Dracula, while Rosslyn Chapel, just outside Edinburgh, was a key location in The Da Vinci Code. You can even visit the Auld Kirk in Alloway where the witches from Burns’ Tam o’ Shanter danced – if you dare!
